The IDAE has announced the recipients of the RENOINN 2 program for innovative projects in renewable energy and energy storage, as well as renewable thermal systems.
The call for proposals received more than 800 applications, of which 524 were approved, totaling 433.44 million euros and 1,225.66 MW of installed generation capacity. Asturias will receive 7 million euros for three projects under Program 3 of Innovative Projects for the Integration of Renewables with Storage in Infrastructure, specifically a hydroelectric plant in Sobrescobio and two photovoltaic facilities in Gijón and Avilés. The three projects have a combined installed generation capacity of 11.624 MW and a storage capacity of 52,460 MWh.
