The Energy Community of Cabranes was born in Cabranes with the aim of promoting a more sustainable and closer energy model, taking advantage of local resources to reduce energy dependence and promote shared self-consumption. The project arises from the interest of the neighbors and the support of the City Council, which facilitates the implementation through the transfer of the roof of the municipal sports center. The initiative seeks to strengthen the rural environment, promote savings and move towards cleaner and more accessible energy for the entire community.
