The Asoleyar energy community was born out of the concern of the residents of the Santa Bárbara neighborhood in Xixón to create a sustainable neighborhood. The impulse that motivated the birth of this energy community was the neighborhood’s willingness to contribute to the necessary ecological transition, which also involves the way of consuming energy through a change in generation and awareness. The main objective is to regain a sense of community through the generation of affordable clean energy and neighborhood solidarity.
