On July 29, 2026, the Official State Gazette (BOE) published the decision resolving the public tender for the concession of evacuation capacity to the electric power grid for renewable electricity generation facilities at the Narcea 400-kV Just Transition Hub.
The final allocation of 320 MW (MGES) of transmission capacity to the electric power grid for renewable electricity generation facilities at the Narcea 400 kV transition node, in favor of La Barca Energía, SL, for its facility known as “CHR La Barca.” The access capacity awarded in the tender is 320 MW (MGES), with the installed capacity of the future La Barca Reversible Hydroelectric Power Plant being 320 MW.
