This energy community was created with the double objective of covering, through the production of renewable energy, part of the consumption of municipal facilities, involving the population of the municipality of Muros del Nalón in the project.
The legal form chosen was the creation of an Association whose members are the people interested in participating in the initiative, in addition to the city council itself.
This project will allow the municipality to reduce the negative effects of non-renewable energy consumption, democratize energy production, local generation and address energy poverty at the municipal level.
