The Pescandi Energy community was created to promote a rural development model associated with the Pescandi Circular project. It integrates the generation of a photovoltaic plant and the use of biogas generated in the dairy and livestock by-product treatment facility, creating a hybrid system that supplies electricity and heat to its members. Its objective is to reduce energy costs, improve the economic and environmental sustainability of the territory and strengthen the energy autonomy of the council.
