The SOLALLER Energy Community was founded with the goal of bringing renewable energy closer to the region and its people, promoting a more sustainable and participatory energy model committed to the development of the Aller municipality.
Sponsored by the Aller City Council and private organizations, the community promotes collective self-consumption, sustainable mobility, and the use of local renewable resources to advance toward a just energy transition, reduce carbon emissions, and generate environmental, social, and economic benefits for the community, while contributing to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 Agenda.
The future facility, which is part of the 2030 Agenda and will receive a grant in 2026, will have 111 photovoltaic modules distributed between the sports center and Building 1, which is dedicated to self-consumption.
An electric vehicle charging station with two 22-kW charging points is planned for Warehouse 2; it is isolated from the grid because it is equipped with a battery bank.
