| Brief description | Installation of a hydrogen production plant accompanied by three energy storage systems with different technologies, a synchronous compensator, a photovoltaic park and a hydrospinning plant in the waters of the Nalón river. |
| Main characteristics | Location: Soto Ribera H2 production: 68000 t/year The plant will be developed in 2 phases: – Phase 1: 5 MW electrolyzers – Phase 2: 500 MW electrolyzers Renewable H2 will be produced for transport and NH3 will be produced. In addition, several storage systems will be incorporated: molten salts, lithium-ion batteries and redox batteries. Other generation technologies will also be installed: photovoltaic and hydroelectric. |
