The Xúntate Llanera energy community, a pioneer in Asturias, was set up in 2022 in the municipality of Llanera, promoted by the Axúntase collaborative housing cooperative. It currently has 25 members and a board of directors made up of four women and three men living in Llanera. It has organized talks and conferences subsidized by the City Council to inform and attract people related to this energy model, in addition to participating in technical training by representatives of the governing body.
